James's journey began in the hallowed halls of the University of Tennessee, where she honed her skills in fine arts, mastering the delicate balance between form and function, color and contrast. But her vision was broader, her aspirations loftier. She recognized early on that beauty, in its most transformative sense, was not confined to canvas or sculpture. It was a narrative waiting to be woven into the very essence of personal and professional expression.
Her story unfolded across the country as an editorial makeup artist in the wild heart of Los Angeles to a beauty stylist and creative director in the Front Range of Colorado. James's artistic vision is matched only by her entrepreneurial spirit, as evidenced by her multiple roles as co-founder/ consultant for two pioneering cannabis skincare lines as well as the owner of a beauty and wellness studio downtown Denver. These endeavors have not only withstood the test of time but have set benchmarks for innovation and excellence in the field.
James is more than a designer; she is a collaborator, a co-creator in your journey to redefine and elevate you and your brand. THE PROCESS
The goal is to help people reconnect with their authentic self and channel that energy via personal style as well as their brands/ digital platforms. When people fully express themselves to the world in a way that is truthful and authentic, they connect with aligned people/ places/ & projects, and that place of alignment cultivates flow states, abundance, and expansion.
Through a series of questions and exercises, a get-to-know-you conversation, and intuitive readings information is collected to build your ideal visual narrative which is then presented to you as a mockup and a moodboard. After a series of revisions with you a fresh website, brand, online presence, or personal style overhaul is fully designed and built out for you!
The process for creating workshops, products, and other resources is similar but the execution is a bit different as these require a more detailed strategy. Every project is different and the work is tailored to meet the needs of the client's goals and vision.
